Sometimes it's cold and the wind is tearing through your brand new coat. You have to go to the doctor again because you hurt yourself at work, again, and are limping. Your lips and hands are chapped and you are basically tired of being you.
Then.
For just a second, you look up. Through the hair whipping in your eyes you see something gleaming dully in the dancing light.
An otherwise mundane object, often overlooked, suddenly made beautiful by circumstance.
